V.A. - Pebbles Vol. 7

After their excursion to the British R&B classics on Vol. 6 the compilers return on the following volumes (up to Vol. 14 to be exact) to good old garage, although there's an english band on this edition too. Everybody knows "The Craig" and their Freakbeat classic "I Must Be Mad" but embed between these cool '60s punkers they could go through as an american band. There's hardly a bad track on this volume (BFD-5024 / 1979) and they only mucked-up a bit the opener by "Something Wild" as they pushed too late the recording button... but I always found it more charming than annoying.
