This is a great collection. Mostly very eccentric UK popsike.

The cuts by The New Generation are insanely catchy, especially "Sadie and Her Magic Mr. Gallahad," which lives up to its title by being somewhat magical.

Timothy Blue's "She Won't See the Light" is a superior take on a song done by The Beethoven Soul and Lesley Gore (although Gore's version went unreleased at the time).

Eggy's "Hooky" starts with such a classic riff you wonder why it wasn't a hit. And you'll want to hear more, which is why I recommend getting all four volumes of this series.
