Thank you so much for that wonderful effort !
Andrew Oldham's work is really worthwhile.
And you constantly put up new items in the same league, Bravo !

You once answered me (about Dedikation) that you might be able to find Larry’s Rebels CD.
I hope you'll be able to do so, and that I would not be the only one interested ?

And a Merry Year 2008!

I'm looking for the original theme music of the BBC-series (a detective) called Softly Softly, aired in the late sixties and later. It has a whistler in it and you're looking at two shoes walking in te rain on a dark and empty street, taking care of the rhythm of the song. Like 'Z Cars', it has a folk-song arrangement by Fritz Spiegl. It was released as a single (credited to the London Waits) on Andrew Loog Oldham's "Immediate" record label in 1966.

Strangely enough, number 29 on disc 2 is called Softly Softly but it is NOT the song I'm looking for.
Is ther another version with the same name? Does my heas and memory fail me cruelly?

Who can help me? I tried the BBC but they couldn't do anything for me.

Thanks in advance!!
